As a life-long resident of Ohio, the changing seasons are a big part of my life. I love to welcome each one, and enjoy sharing seasonal content with all of you. Adding seasonal accessories to your existing decor is the easiest way to refresh a room, without reinventing the wheel. Over the years, I have gathered together an idea list for celebrating the various seasons…and last year, I finally wrote one for spring. This guide has been completely updated and reorganized for 2024, and includes every scrap of spring season inspiration I have, and then some!

What follows is a collection of my best decor ideas, recipes, crafts, wreaths, spring activities, and more. My hope is that these suggestions will provide endless ideas, so you can celebrate spring in style!

Spring Self Care

  • Treat yourself to a lovely candle in a fresh floral scent.
  • Plan ahead for Mother’s Day by shopping this carefully curated collection of gift ideas freshly updated for 2024.
  • Get a new lipstick in a fresh and pretty color. I love this berry vanilla from Laura Geller.
  • Plan a girls night, and splurge on dinner at your favorite restaurant.
  • This dusty pink sweatshirt looks great with these cute linen pants and tee. It’s perfect for spring, and it won’t break the bank! (The pants run a little big so consider sizing down.)
  • On the first nice day, when the sun is shining, take a bike ride or a long walk.
  • Add a Mrs. Meyers Peony kitchen set to your kitchen counter. The scent is amazing!
  • Declutter and organize one space in your home to create a sense of renewal.

  7. As always, beautiful and so much inspiration. Thank you for always sharing such wonderful ideas.

I live in Canada and right now it’s snow and cold. But I am already getting ready for spring. And I have already tried your strawberry scones and they are to die for.

    Thank you. Enjoy your day.

  8. Such a lovely post! I’m dreaming of spring but the weather isn’t co-operating. More snow is in the forecast for this evening. While I wait for warmer temps, I will enjoy your spring ideas. Thank you!

  9. This post is awesome. I just skimmed it quickly but will sit down and read every word with my coffee. I will definitely be making the strawberry scones – probably today! I already have plans to refresh the French blue on my front door – along with the wooden plant table in the same color. I am a planner by nature, and every year I break the year down in quarters and list projects to be accomplished and check them off. I’m on to quarter #2 in a few weeks. It’s a real sense of accomplishment.

  10. I love your print outs. I have used them in the past.
Everyone who receives them comments on their beauty.
Thank you for doing this for me (and everyone else)
    Barbara

So much good stuff here!! I especially have my eye on that strawberry scone. We just had our floors refinished last week and have been in the process of putting the house back together. I’m absolutely sick of winter and the fresh space gave me motivation to start incorporating spring into our decor and meals. Thanks for all of the inspo!

  15. I can’t wait to try the strawberry scones. Thank you for the recipe.
    Happy spring, very soon.

I enjoy your blog very much. I just live south of you in KY (Lexington). I found this post especially helpful. I’m looking for a blue for my front door and had already pinned your front door a long time ago. All week I’ve been on a search for new planters and found on this list about painting them. Fantastic idea! Looking forward to more posts as you work on your new home.

  19. This is a wonderful post, Ann. Very uplifting and helpful at this time of year. Thank you and happy Spring!!

  20. So much inspiration in this post! Hope you have a happy spring!😊
