The Ultimate Guide to Celebrating Spring features crafts, recipes, decor ideas, wreaths, and more. This is the perfect place to get inspiration and spring ideas for welcoming this special season into your home!

As someone who has lived in Ohio all my life, the changing seasons are part of my everyday rhythm. I love welcoming each one and sharing simple ways to celebrate them at home. Adding seasonal touches to your decor is the easiest way to refresh a space without making big changes. Over time, I’ve gathered a collection of ideas for embracing each season…and last year, I finally put together a guide for spring. This year, it’s been completely updated and reorganized for 2025, filled with fresh inspiration for decorating, cooking, and enjoying the season.

Spring Self Care

  • Treat yourself to a lovely candle in a fresh floral scent.
  • Get a new lipstick in a fresh and pretty color. I love this berry vanilla from Laura Geller.
  • Plan a girls night, and splurge on dinner at your favorite restaurant.
  • On the first nice day, when the sun is shining, take a bike ride or a long walk.
  • Add a Mrs. Meyers Peony kitchen set to your kitchen counter. The scent is amazing!

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, but I can’t seem to get your printables. I’ve filled out the form a couple of times & I do get an email, but there’s no button (download or otherwise) for me to click onto to get to the printables. Can you help? I enjoy your posts so much. I’m in my mid-70’s & well past all the “cutesy” sites that are out there.

  17. As always, beautiful and so much inspiration. Thank you for always sharing such wonderful ideas.

I live in Canada and right now it’s snow and cold. But I am already getting ready for spring. And I have already tried your strawberry scones and they are to die for.

    Thank you. Enjoy your day.

  18. Such a lovely post! I’m dreaming of spring but the weather isn’t co-operating. More snow is in the forecast for this evening. While I wait for warmer temps, I will enjoy your spring ideas. Thank you!

  19. This post is awesome. I just skimmed it quickly but will sit down and read every word with my coffee. I will definitely be making the strawberry scones – probably today! I already have plans to refresh the French blue on my front door – along with the wooden plant table in the same color. I am a planner by nature, and every year I break the year down in quarters and list projects to be accomplished and check them off. I’m on to quarter #2 in a few weeks. It’s a real sense of accomplishment.

  20. I love your print outs. I have used them in the past.
Everyone who receives them comments on their beauty.
Thank you for doing this for me (and everyone else)
    Barbara

So much good stuff here!! I especially have my eye on that strawberry scone. We just had our floors refinished last week and have been in the process of putting the house back together. I’m absolutely sick of winter and the fresh space gave me motivation to start incorporating spring into our decor and meals. Thanks for all of the inspo!

  25. I can’t wait to try the strawberry scones. Thank you for the recipe.
    Happy spring, very soon.

  26. Fun reading and reviewing. Found your blog in 2014 when I retired & had time to discover blogs, am working once again & always find the time for your blog. It’s The Best! Have tried many, many of your ideas & they always bring cheer to my life!

  27. Fantastic guide, Ann! Lots of great spring inspiration!

  28. Teresa Fields says:

I enjoy your blog very much. I just live south of you in KY (Lexington). I found this post especially helpful. I’m looking for a blue for my front door and had already pinned your front door a long time ago. All week I’ve been on a search for new planters and found on this list about painting them. Fantastic idea! Looking forward to more posts as you work on your new home.

  29. This is a wonderful post, Ann. Very uplifting and helpful at this time of year. Thank you and happy Spring!!

  30. So much inspiration in this post! Hope you have a happy spring!😊
