September Quote Free Printables

Welcome to September! I’m just popping in today to bring you two printables of a favorite quote from Helen Hunt Jackson. I’ve made two versions of the same quote so you have a big choice to make! Actually the reason I made two is because I had the colored one all ready to go and then decided I wanted a chalkboard one for an upcoming craft.

Here is a little preview of my Woodland Inspired Frame. I’ll be back in a day or so to share how I made it. I wasn’t quite sure how it was going to come out but it ended up being pretty cute…and very fallish so it fits right in.

September Quote Free Printables | Helen Hunt Jackson | Two original printables to welcome September. Free and ready to download instantly for DIY wall art!I want to say thank you for all the amazing comments you left on Sunday’s post. Somehow just the words “thank you” don’t seem like enough. All the comments made me smile and a few I had to read through tears. I felt like we were all kindred souls and the best of friends. There were so many of you who either have taken care of parents or are, like me, doing it right now. I will leave the comments open for another day and then they will close so I can pick the giveaway winners.

Although it is Sept. 1, summer is still in its prime here in north Texas with Fall weeks away in late October. Your printables remind that Fall is coming and will be lovely when it arrives. I rather like the printable in color better than the chalkboard version.

    Enjoy your Fall weather…

I don’t know why but, talking about it brings warm and sad memories,i was the only one that made myself available to be close in case they needed me and i would not change a thing. The last few yrs.before my mom died was wonderful. Then my father was so lost without her,but he lived 10 more yrs. He died 1 yr. before i retired. Enjoy them while you can and stow all those memories.

With 2 college age children, aging parents, and an unplanned change in my career, I think I am officially in the autumn of my life. Since fall has always been my favorite season of the year, I am hoping this “season of life” will be as beautiful, once I get used to the “change in weather” (empty nest, role reversal of sorts with my parents etc). This lovely quote will serve as a reminder to me to enjoy all the beauty that this season, as well as this time in life, has to offer. The preview of your woodland inspired frame looks amazing and I can not wait for the full reveal. Thank you again for your inspiration and kind sharing.

Just a note to say keep plugging and praying, Give yourself a few quiet moments. The journey may be short or long for your parent. Its a rough road bringing up all kinds of memories of your life together.
just one thing Try to cherish these last times together and know how important they are. Your followers on the blog can wait, they won’t leave you. This time in life is for your loved one. Its comforting to know later that you did all you could. i think of my mom every day. I miss my parents terribly. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

  13. Thank you so much, they are lovely!

Hi Anne – always a Blessing to see your website pop up in my emails – you and Stonegable are my favourites:)))
I always find your posts have such a variety of content, they actually feel “do-able” and would either taste great or look great in my home.
I also appreciate your heartfelt sharing … Interesting how we’ve never met yet we feel like friends. One of the true values of the “techie” world I guess.
Some practical things I’ve learned about from your blog was the “waterlogue” app… And my Christmas Beetle Bug Pillow from Craftberry Bush that i wouldn’t have known about otherwise!
Thanks for all your hard work and uniqueness that make On Sutton Place what it is …and continually growing to be!
    Blessings Terry:)))

  17. Oh dear, choices, choices. Love both versions. Thanks Ann! :)
