THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED.

Welcome to the 200th edition of The Wish List! Nearly four years ago, we had an idea and decided to give it a try…after all, what did we have to lose? Thanks to all of you, that idea has grown into something truly special. To celebrate, and say thank you, we’re each giving away a $200 electronic gift card! You can enter once on each blog: leave a comment on Lory’s post, one on Yvonne’s, and be sure to leave a comment here as well. My winner can choose a gift card from Amazon, Target, Walmart, Pottery Barn, or Wayfair. Winners will be announced in next week’s edition. Good luck!

Ann | On Sutton Place

1.) I just shared two brand new recipes that feel like they’ve been around forever…in the best way. The first is a classic Chicken and Rice Casserole that’s hearty, satisfying, and perfect for busy weeknights. The second is Peasant Bread, a no-knead recipe that’s soft on the inside, golden on the outside, and just right for serving alongside any meal. Both are easy to make, full of from-the-heart flavor, and will fit right into your dinner rotation without any fuss.

2.) Featured Amazon Shop Section: outdoor decor featuring furniture, lighting, outdoor dining, accessories, and more!

3.) FAVORITE QUOTE: “The only difference between an extraordinary life and an ordinary one is the extraordinary pleasures you find in ordinary things.”
~Veronique Vienne

4.) Take this home tour in Minneapolis where the periwinkle is abundant and the mudroom will stop you dead in your tracks. It’s pretty much impossible to pick a favorite room!

5.) Fun Finds Under $50:

6.) Random Shows I’ve Watched: ten very entertaining episodes of Sarah’s Mountain Escape, Gifted, and all ten episodes of Doc, all on Hulu. Also on Hulu, my favorite version of Sense and Sensibility. (The one from 2008.) On Amazon Prime Video, a fascinating documentary called Becoming Katharine Graham, and Escape From Germany.

7.) Favorites For Your Home:

8.) Two More Recipes: this very cute and easy version of the Easiest Ever Mini Naked Cakes, and this recipe for delicious sour cream shortcake biscuits.

9.) Tour this stunning Cape Cod home that combines serenity and chic sophistication. Incredible wallpaper too!

10.) Wishing you all a wonderful week. XO

9. CULINARY CORNER: Rustic Raspberry Cheesecake Tart: Preheat the oven to 350° and butter a tart pan with a removable bottom. In a medium bowl combine 1 1/3 cups flour, 1/3 cup sugar, 1/2 tsp baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Add 7 TBS cold butter, cut in small pieces, and combine with your fingers until it resembles coarse crumbs. Add 1 egg and mix until a soft dough forms. Press the dough evenly into the bottom and up the sides of the prepared tart pan. Prick the bottom with a fork and place in the refrigerator to chill while you make the filling. In another bowl, beat 8 oz room temperature cream cheese until smooth. Add 1/3 cup sour cream, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 egg, 1 tsp vanilla extract, the zest of 1 lemon, and 2 TBS fresh lemon juice. Beat until the filling is creamy and well combined. Pour the filling into the chilled crust and smooth the top. Scatter 1 1/2 cups fresh raspberries evenly over the filling. Sprinkle with 1 TBS sugar if desired. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until the filling is just set and the crust is lightly golden. Let the tart cool completely, then refrigerate before serving. Remember to sprinkle liberally with powdered sugar.

10. THE LAST WORD: Wishing you and your family a happy and blessed Easter. He is risen!

ANSWER TO #7: The fear of the number 13 is called triskaidekaphobia. A group of bunnies is called a fluffle- LOVE it! Now you know!
