At this time of year, especially in the parts of the country where it’s cold, fresh flowers really do seem like a treat. We can’t walk into the back yard and pick some of our own. I don’t usually buy flowers as a rule, but the past few weeks whenever I’ve made it to the grocery I have splurged on a bunch of tulips. I’ve managed to get three different colors and transformed them into digital watercolor printables. You might remember that I did the same thing last Fall. If you happened to print and frame any of those, here’s a replacement that should last until summer.
Once again I took pictures of each arrangement with my iPhone and then ran them through the app Waterlogue. When I was looking for a vase to use with the red tulips, I found this pitcher that I had completely forgotten about. It’s vintage and made in Portugal. It was the added bonus to having fresh flowers in the house!
I have a confession. If you perhaps visited this post earlier today and wondered what was going on, I’m sorry! I had scheduled this post a few days ago to publish this morning. Life got in the way and I didn’t get it completely finished…and to top things off I forgot that it was scheduled. Imagine my surprise when I saw it in my email this morning. Anyway, I’ve fixed it up a bit and it’s much more presentable!
Thank you for stopping by and for putting up with my absent-minded ways…see you soon!
