These free DIY Spring Tulip Watercolor Printables are available as an instant digital download and make perfect DIY wall art, cards, crafts & more.
At this time of year, especially in the parts of the country where it’s cold, fresh flowers really do seem like a treat. We can’t walk into the back yard and pick some of our own. It’s been so gray and dreary that the past few weeks whenever I’ve made it to the grocery, I have splurged on a bunch of tulips. I’ve managed to get three different colors and have enjoyed each bunch so much. Even though I didn’t actually paint these DIY spring tulip watercolor printables, I styled the arrangements, took the photographs and digitally transformed them into watercolors. They are 100% original and you won’t find them anyplace else!
One of my favorite parts of styling these arrangements is deciding what kind of vessel I should use. When I was looking for a vase to use with the red tulips, I found a lovely pitcher that I had completely forgotten about. It’s vintage and made in Portugal. It was the added bonus to having fresh flowers in the house!
This artwork can be easily sized when you click to print. Just choose 5 x 7, 8 x 10, etc. One option which I love is to print as 5 x 7’s, use 11 x 14 frames with a mat that has a 5 x 7 opening. This option is shown in the photograph above. If you didn’t want to use a mat, you could print them as an 8.5 x 11 and they would fit nicely into an 8 x 10 frame. An 8.5 x 11 diy fall watercolor printable would also fit beautifully into an 11 x 14 frame with an 8.5 x 11 mat.

Hi Ann,
Tulips are my absolute favorite! Thanks so much. Beautiful work!
So fetching! I’m planning to place them in my kitchen.
What paper would you recommend for printing?
Thank you, Laura
Your tulip watercolors are so pretty. I always wanted to be able to paint with watercolors. I even took a class several years ago and found it to be pretty challenging. Thanks goodness for technology. Thanks for the freebie.
As always, I love your printables! My favorite is the pink tulips and will look perfect in my Spring bedroom decor. Thank you.
I love the waterlogue app Ann, so much fun~ your printables are great!
Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful prints. Somehow I missed them last week, but all is good now. I have printed and set them into frames and have them setting all around our house. You are so very thoughtful!
I adore tulips too. Such a nice doze of cheer, thanks, Ann. I think I may put all three in frames and have a grouping on the wall. They compliment each other perfectly. I saw your picture with pink tulips in Instagram, it was beautiful.
Ann, this is not about your blog but I don’t know how to get in touch with you otherwise. For about two weeks, maybe more I didn’t receive your blog. I was wondering how that could have happened. I went in and signed up again as if I had never been on your list and your blogs started again. Just curious. Thought maybe you had been sick or some other personal problems. To repeat, just curious. Any ideas why this happened? Did it happen to anyone else?
Oh gosh Barbara I have no idea. It sounds like a glitch with the site that delivers my post emails. I will ask and see what they have to say. I haven’t heard from anyone else. I am glad you signed up again…thank you!
Suggestions on what paper to print the downloads on to keep it looking more like a watercolor print? Watercolor paper has a roughened texture, but is too thick and heavy to run through a printer. Your beautiful work deserves a more special presentation than a plain copied picture! Thanks for your help!
Love them! Tulips are absolutely my favorite. Thank you for the printable!
Thanks for taking the time to give us these beautiful prints!
These are so very pretty–thank you for sharing them, Ann!
I absolutely adore these prints and have one at a time on my counter. Thank you.
These are all very pretty Ann, and I like the 3rd one in the aqua mason jar. However, the red ones in the colourful pitcher are pretty too. Have a great day.
Thank you for sharing these beautiful prints!
