I don’t think, since the beginning, that I’ve ever posted twice in one day. Well…here I am back again and this time with fall decor in the kitchen. Very simple and inexpensive pops of autumn are all that is needed in a kitchen as as small as mine. There’s no room for lovely vignettes or piles of pumpkins.
This windowsill is usually a catch-all for pitchers and jars I don’t know what to do with. I decided to bring my still-growing herbs inside to see if I could save them from the cold weather. I’m not sure they will survive the dryness of the kitchen but for sure on this windowsill they will get plenty of sun. Hopefully I can keep them alive for a while.A bowl of Honeycrisp apples and a pitcher of herbs is all that there’s room for on the island.
The little pillows on the bar stools are going to be available in my Etsy shop very soon. Maybe even by the end of the week.
I’ve been working hard and have all my signature phrases in stock. I have all the phrases in flax linen (pictured) ready to list and am working on ivory linen with brown embroidery. I have learned the hard way not to make promises because you never know what tomorrow may bring…so I will let you know when the listings are up.
One more little thing to show you. This section of counter is in the far corner of my kitchen and isn’t used much. It’s stays relatively clear so it’s a great spot for seasonal items.
This is our last installment of Fall Into Autumn. I have had the best time hanging out with Debbie, Dawn and Jane. We hope you have been inspired to bring touches of autumn into your home. We loved doing this and have already started thinking about a series for Christmas!
