Simple Autumn Table Setting with Burlap Bouquets
Make little burlap bouquets to add charm to any simple autumn table setting. Includes ideas for an easy plate stack and centerpiece.
Welcome to the autumn edition of Styled & Set! Today we are sharing so many lovely ideas that you will definitely want to take a little bit of time and look through the links at the end of the post. If you are coming from Edith & Evelyn Vintage, thank you so much for stopping by, and welcome. Today I’m sharing a very simple autumn table setting that anyone can do. I didn’t buy anything new, and except for the flowers, I kept the colors neutral. These easy table settings are my favorites, because they take hardly any time at all, yet they look festive and fun.
Simple Autumn Table Setting Ideas
Pretty table settings don’t have to be elaborate or expensive. Here are a few things that add charm and interest to any simple table setting.
- Fresh flower centerpiece. You can never go wrong with fresh flowers! Pick up something seasonal at the grocery, or gather blooms from your garden. For autumn, branches or sticks look lovely and add a rustic touch. Everything you see in the arrangement below was purchased from my grocery, and for less than $20.00.
- Simple plate stack. Keep the plate stack to a minimum and let your table be the star. Use just a charger and dinner plate, or a dinner plate and salad plate. Let the surface of your table show as much as possible.
- Burlap bouquet favors. A seasonal favor is always fun, and these little burlap bouquets are quick and cheery. See how how to make these easy table favors {HERE.}
- Add something vintage. I’m a big fan of adding a vintage touch to every table setting, because I believe it adds character and charm. The silver candlesticks and crystal glasses are inherited pieces that I treasure, and it always makes me happy to get them out and use them. So look around in your cabinets, and see what you have that will add a bit of your family history to your table.
- Neutral linens. Keeping a neutral color palette for your linens is a great way to save money. I have lost count of how many times I’ve used these linen napkins for a tablescape…but they keep appearing because they work with everything. The only other linen on the table is this lovely runner that I received for Mother’s Day. There is a bit of color in it, but it’s mostly neutral, so it works.
